Dear 2016 Me....

Slow down
live for the moment and do not over plan your life, remember that there is one who reshuffles the plans you make for the best. Don't rush your days.
Pray
You of all people know that you are not praying as often as you should be, and it is through prayer that you can communicate with the Master Spirit that is keeping you alive and that has made you who you are
Sleep early wake up early
This might have always been something that you should do but have never gotten to it, so do it now. The only way that you can wake up and start your day with a good old Tape is to sleep enough, and wake up early.
Organize yourself
A disorganized life, just like an empty mind, can also be a devil's workshop. So make plans and have something to look forward to every single day.
No procrastination
Your assignments will not miraculously complete themselves, so get to it and do it now.
Balance your time
For everything there is a time for it, a time for Friends, school, family, self and most of all God. So don't mix those up.
Discipline
Develop habits that will always stick with you as you get wiser. Now is the time to make those habits, because the future does not give you the opportunity to do so.
Give yourself a brake
Don't think too much about everything. Somethings are just meant to remain constant.
Open your hands to everything
God is full of surprises, so you will never know what the future holds for for you if you keep your hands crossed to yourself. The trials will make you stronger and the blessings will enrich you.
You are what you choose to be
And this year choose to be Loving, Courageous and Wise
Stay Humble
The only great One is God, Creator of heavens and earth.

If the Rapture should happen, then BE READY, DO ALL IT TAKES, JUST DON'T MISS IT!

He's got you

Sometimes, I fall real hard,
But then He still catches me and reminds me that I am His own.

Sometimes, I feel like every deadline possible is tomorrow,
But, His still small voice tells me that it is useless to worry.

So many times, I thought I had my life figured out,
But He corrects me and says that it is His will that should prevail, not mine.

Countless times, I think that He is so high up in the heavens and too  far from me,
Nevertheless, He whispers "I am with you"

Be it insecurities, trials, school, spiritual life, relationships with people and all that can be included in this package....through these aspects of my life, My Jesus constantly reminds me that I am His and He is mine and I am the Church Victorious and triumphant , His Bride, the apple of His eye. I did not do anything to deserve all these and many more titles, but it is through His stripes and suffering that I am who I am.

Yes, He loves you, and He wants you to be filled with His spirit more than you desire it. Keep praying and eat the book! He's got you :)

Make it count

This is to all who recognize their identity in Christ...to all who have received the truth and are clinging to it. I got this inspiration from a song sung by the Lafontaines family "make it count". As Christians of this very last age we may turn this Christ like life that we are supposed to be living into something common and so routine.....read your Bible everyday.... listen to tapes.....pray...go to church on Sunday....attend youth/family camps...attend prayer meetings etc. With all these activities tied into our Christian lives we may forget the real essence of a Christ-like-life. You only have one life to serve the Lord.....one life to praise Him, one life to talk about His goodness. And you need to make it count, use up most of your time for His work, ask Him to make you THE revival, work till He come s back, after all that is what He has commanded us to do. And most of all do everything with Love, testify with Love, work with Love. I guess the bottom line is Living a life that matters in the eyes of The Lord. Live to please HIM not men. And one glorious morning we shall wear a crown and be told "Well done my Faithful one".

God Bless :)

Choice leading to a path

It's the sacrifices that we make along the way that make our lives count, things like giving up that soccer game you were going to watch just to go home and study for the SAT on the next day, or letting that fun day out with your friends pass you by just because you had to go to work and save up for an important financial goal that you are targeting. Life is all about the choices we make on each moment over a course of a life time and the paths we chose to take. And you can not blame anyone or any factor for the different paths you chose to take,m you are the compass of your life, the captain of your own ship, and there is no one else that can sail the ship better than you can, you are the only one that currently posses the map or the GPS rout that needs to walked through to get to your destination......but mind you there may not be a definite destination, and the path may seem blurry at times. when a force that is greater than you comes in, The One that Has the power to redirect you, even though you may have the Map and the compass within your highest reach...without this Supreme power you really are just heading to an unknown destination.....The only way that you can obtain this divine power to be subject to it, to give your all, to realize and admit that it is not you running the show.......but instead it is HIM

Stay Blessed :)

strength to the feeble ( Brother Kyle)

Zechariah 12
"8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the Lord before them."

It is in our weakest times that God will begin to use us, just like Moses in the desert

>Isaiah 5:3
>1 Thessalonians 5:14
Being feeble is part of Christianity so that we could depend on God for everything in our lives
God is the ultimate responsible person for our lives

We need to stay humble even after the Lord strengthens us.

Hebrews 10:11

God chose the foolish and low things to work His Glory

Do not be INTIMIDATED the DEVIL!

"Perfect strength and perfect weakness" (sermon to listen to)

Just when you are Like"I can not do this" ...that is when God is like" Exactly that's where I come in"

A compilation of minor things can overwhelm u so much........

Overconfidence is an abomination(deadly).....we walk with God for so long and we become too confident....and then we crush....we need the Lord daily and the Lord has no limit or high level we need the Lord at all times....stay humble

We need to allow one another to have a sackcloth time.....we will not always be on our highs.....lows will come...but that is where God meets us!

God by the Human weakness pours himself to us.......then He uses us for what we were made to do.

"One of the important things we have to master is the thought of Human ability.....so that we can lay it aside and surrender to God and let Him use us"

*****Just a summary of what Brother Kyle spoke on on the Wednesday service......really blessed me....

Stay Blessed! :)

P.U.S.H

P-pray
U-until
S-something
H-hapens

He spoke a parable unto them....that men ought always to pray, and not to faint-Luke 18:1

This is an acronym  that I learned from my mother.........today as I was reading my daily devotion the same topic came up, about praying until we get an answer form God or until our hearts are at peace from God's assuarance. We of ten just pray once and then thinking that the battle or the situation will just move. .........that is faith at it's best ,but we forget that when we enter into prayer we are not only talking to God,  but we are also  entering into the battle ground with the devil, and the more we rebuke his works in our prayers the more he loses in whatever trial he was throwing to you.We need to keep hoding on to prayer until we see changes ......until whatevr trial, situation, temptation, battle, sickness bows down to The one and Only Creator, Who giveth you strength. We often complain that the Lord has not heard our prayers or that the Lord is mad at us for doing something wrong and hence sending us all these trials..........No! Maybe you are just not praying enough? Or maybe you are not desperate enough........Jacob held on to the Lord for the whole night until The Lord blessed Him........and that's exactly what we all need to do hold on......stay on your knees until.......we need to finish our battle through prayer.

Tarry at the promise till God meets you there. He always returns by way of His promises.-unknown

God Bless you and keep praying on..........

Heart of Thanks Giving

Yes........... I am not perfect
I do not talk a lot
I am very insecure
At times I may over think situations that are probably already out of other individuals' minds
I feel lonely at times
I might be smiling on the outside......but really I am screaming on the inside
Some situations just bother me and may be a major awkward time for me
I am not that pretty....or glamorous
Tries to make an effort to make new friend .....but is usually ruled by the dominating shyness

BUT........despite all that and many more......

I am a child of the King......Greater than any other king that ever existed
I am made perfect through HIS assurance( Fearfully and wonderfully made)
He performeth all things for me....therefore I should not be shaken or dismayed by this world's trials and temptations

I am THANKFUL for the Little things.........

I  may not have it all.........but I have more than enough......
Loving family
Friend to confide in
Food........appetite to eat it
Life
the ability to think and understand
Shoes on my feet........and even the legs to put the shoes on
warm room that I can call home....
Most of all.........a new and clean heart.........

Simplicity…..

Today before church service I sat down and started to scribble down what I wanted God to do for me…my expectations for the His Word that will be brought forth by His servant. So I wrote down Purpose…what is my purpose for this life…..I mean there are a lot of people I know that have these wonderful gifts that they are using to serve the Lord….I do believe that everyone has a gift from God but we just unwrap them at different times…but then how do you unwrap a gift of which you do not even know where it lies? So I contemplated on these things through the song service and the specials and then the word came…..The Brother that preached spoke on "Removing the sludge in our spiritual life" and by sludge it means removing everything that hinders you from the will of God and getting out of the sludgemosphere ( this is just me making up words by the way). That way the Lord can clear out all the unwanted materials in your life and then, only then can He show you His divine will for your life. And His divine will is not like this great Holy thing that is too far to reach and to get it you have to pray intensely and fast and all "Holier than though"…no….see Christianity is not as complicated as it seems…the Brother gave an example of a centipede, when it started walking no one came and gave it this huge manual on how to become a centipede, it was just in it to become and act like a centipede……..And so is our Christian life…it's not this complicated task, It just has to flow from you….let the Bible be real to someone else through your day to day life…and again this does not mean you should give scriptures to everyone you pass by…let the scriptures BE WHAT YOU ARE!

God Bless :)!

The story behind the smile

So you meet someone for the first time, girl or boy, you immediately notice the smile that greets you, as ssoon as that smile comes out you assume that the person behind the smile is maybe jolly and is living the best that he or she can of life, you immediately think that the individual has conquered a lother and is now eating and drinking from the fruits he or she reaped from all the victories .You see this extravagant and cheerful person ready to take up anything that life throws at the and turn it into joys. You see this polished up life through that one single smile, but it is what is behind the smile that defines the person's life story, it is the wounds, the defeats, the bad days, the failures and the hardships that the individual went through that define the PERSON and not the the polished up outside odds the person.
We all have different backgrounds different places that we grew up in and most of all different battles and trials that have moulded us oh into what we are today, I mean you can not tell me that ever since you made side of this world and it's craziness you have never tripped oe even fallen down, but it is through you falling that you realize that ten path that you took in the first plan was not for toy and hence you need to change it, and follow or find the one that is right for you, the one that will leaf you to a perfect future that the Lord had prepared for you even before you were born.
I know it seems as though I am running around circles but what I am really trying to say is the smiles that are infront of everyone's reception cover up a lot about the person behind it .........so dig in (if you can) and find out the story behind the person and get inspired.

Beyond the curtain of time > nuggets

Here are a few of many nuggets I found from the sermon Beyond the curtain of time by Brother Branham.

"Each one of us play a part in this picture and in this song. We're parts of the Kingdom of God. And that is, that we can play our parts, as long as we realize where we are positionally belong in this place, and then stay right there in that place. In one place we know it's in love, because that's what makes up the picture."

   Rev. William Marrion Branham
   http://table.branham.org

"Just keep pressing. If you only knew what is at the end of the road."
61-0305 - Beyond The Curtain Of Time
   Rev. William Marrion Branham
   http://table.branham.org

"Whatever you do, lay aside everything else until you get perfect love. Get to where you can love everybody, even every enemy. No matter if the plane is rocking, the lightning is flashing, or the guns of the enemy are upon you, these things do not matter; get perfect love."
61-0305 - Beyond The Curtain Of Time
   Rev. William Marrion Branham
   http://table.branham.org

"64  Could you imagine a artist painting a great picture, beautiful till it's sublime and then just tear it up? There'd be something wrong with the artist. Could you imagine a composer write a song until it's sublime and then just tear his—his music up? There'd be something wrong with the composer. See? There's nothing wrong with God. God don't make a thing like this just to tear it up and throw it away. It's for His Kingdom. It's for His glory."

"O God, help me. Never let me compromise with the Word. Let me stay straight on the Word. I don't care what anyone else does, Lord. Let me press on to that beautiful, joyful place."

Awkward moments

I think that at least 1 in 10 people has had this one moment when they were completely embarrassed and flushing red on there faces, or maybe it did not go to the extent of blushing but was a certain topic or group of people that made you feel a little less comfortable. Well I was looking through some past stuffs and I saw something that triggered my memory of this very awkward incident, and as usual I started to think of it even deeper asking myself questions like why did you even say that? and giving myself talks like you should have just left or kept quiet….but I usually fail to see that "everything" that I say throughout the whole day is recorded by the most High….. and for Him to record every single detail it means that it is at some point going to help you or someone else…..everything that happens in our lives is for a reason, including the words we speak. Therefore we should try our best to minimize the amount of regret and self-criticism that we throw to ourselves every time we encounter and embarrassing/awkward moment instead let us live it to the way it is and let God do His thing.
By this therefore I am not in any way trying to suggest that you can say anything in front of anyone at any time because it all has a reason that is yet to be unveiled NO! This is not at all the message I am trying to bring forth, all i am saying is that the words that we say should be under control at all times(because we are not some wild animal species whose mouth is always open and talking nonsense) but we are Humans hence will make mistakes at times even through our conversations with others, so do not beat yourself up for this one insignificant mistake that you made, instead think of it as a way of correction that The Almighty is trying to show you.
