Simplicity…..

Today before church service I sat down and started to scribble down what I wanted God to do for me…my expectations for the His Word that will be brought forth by His servant. So I wrote down Purpose…what is my purpose for this life…..I mean there are a lot of people I know that have these wonderful gifts that they are using to serve the Lord….I do believe that everyone has a gift from God but we just unwrap them at different times…but then how do you unwrap a gift of which you do not even know where it lies? So I contemplated on these things through the song service and the specials and then the word came…..The Brother that preached spoke on "Removing the sludge in our spiritual life" and by sludge it means removing everything that hinders you from the will of God and getting out of the sludgemosphere ( this is just me making up words by the way). That way the Lord can clear out all the unwanted materials in your life and then, only then can He show you His divine will for your life. And His divine will is not like this great Holy thing that is too far to reach and to get it you have to pray intensely and fast and all "Holier than though"…no….see Christianity is not as complicated as it seems…the Brother gave an example of a centipede, when it started walking no one came and gave it this huge manual on how to become a centipede, it was just in it to become and act like a centipede……..And so is our Christian life…it's not this complicated task, It just has to flow from you….let the Bible be real to someone else through your day to day life…and again this does not mean you should give scriptures to everyone you pass by…let the scriptures BE WHAT YOU ARE!

God Bless :)!

The story behind the smile

So you meet someone for the first time, girl or boy, you immediately notice the smile that greets you, as ssoon as that smile comes out you assume that the person behind the smile is maybe jolly and is living the best that he or she can of life, you immediately think that the individual has conquered a lother and is now eating and drinking from the fruits he or she reaped from all the victories .You see this extravagant and cheerful person ready to take up anything that life throws at the and turn it into joys. You see this polished up life through that one single smile, but it is what is behind the smile that defines the person's life story, it is the wounds, the defeats, the bad days, the failures and the hardships that the individual went through that define the PERSON and not the the polished up outside odds the person.
We all have different backgrounds different places that we grew up in and most of all different battles and trials that have moulded us oh into what we are today, I mean you can not tell me that ever since you made side of this world and it's craziness you have never tripped oe even fallen down, but it is through you falling that you realize that ten path that you took in the first plan was not for toy and hence you need to change it, and follow or find the one that is right for you, the one that will leaf you to a perfect future that the Lord had prepared for you even before you were born.
I know it seems as though I am running around circles but what I am really trying to say is the smiles that are infront of everyone's reception cover up a lot about the person behind it .........so dig in (if you can) and find out the story behind the person and get inspired.

Beyond the curtain of time > nuggets

Here are a few of many nuggets I found from the sermon Beyond the curtain of time by Brother Branham.

"Each one of us play a part in this picture and in this song. We're parts of the Kingdom of God. And that is, that we can play our parts, as long as we realize where we are positionally belong in this place, and then stay right there in that place. In one place we know it's in love, because that's what makes up the picture."

"Just keep pressing. If you only knew what is at the end of the road."

"Whatever you do, lay aside everything else until you get perfect love. Get to where you can love everybody, even every enemy. No matter if the plane is rocking, the lightning is flashing, or the guns of the enemy are upon you, these things do not matter; get perfect love."

"64  Could you imagine a artist painting a great picture, beautiful till it's sublime and then just tear it up? There'd be something wrong with the artist. Could you imagine a composer write a song until it's sublime and then just tear his—his music up? There'd be something wrong with the composer. See? There's nothing wrong with God. God don't make a thing like this just to tear it up and throw it away. It's for His Kingdom. It's for His glory."

"O God, help me. Never let me compromise with the Word. Let me stay straight on the Word. I don't care what anyone else does, Lord. Let me press on to that beautiful, joyful place."
