Dont Mind your Mind

Your thoughts are like waves in the ocean,
The waves are not part of the ocean but
they just happen to be hanging around with the mighty ocean.
No matter how much the ocean tried to press down the waves,
all the work put into it will go into no avail.
In fact the waves will crush even mightily.

At the same time the Ocean, could chose to ignore the waves,
and let them do their own thing.
The waves will not go away,
never,
because that is just how God wanted it to be.

You, just like the ocean can chose to dismiss your thoughts
and just let them pass by.
Your thoughts are not you,
you need to stop identifying with your thoughts.
They are a separate entity,
Just like your phone is not you,
same applies to your thoughts.

Simply observe your thoughts,
Do not make stories behind them that you and yourself know are not true.
Do not mind your mind
let it mind itself
stand still and hold your ground
and let this echo within you
at all times,
YOU ARE NOT YOUR THOUGHTS

Fervent

O Lord,
Creator of the living and the dead,
Maker of the seen and unseen,
Holder of the broken and whole,

The silent voice that could go unheard,
The greatest visionary there is,
envisioning the structure and performance of the Universe.

The meekest but yet Greatest of all Kings, Queens, Presidents and so called Billionaires.
Your name be exalted even beyond the heavens,
may your will in my life,
be driven by your,
same,
never changing,
Still small voice that drives me to where you want me to be.

I know that, in this very moment,
I am where I need to be,
in the exact sitting position you want me to be in.
But this moment
Right here
is not all You are.

I believe that there are more places,
situations, feelings and exposures
that You want my feet,
to tread to.

Help me not to be too fast or too slow in getting there,
May I be in the perfect time and at the perfect time.
May I be open to every little sign You send my way.

Most of all,
may Your Glory Shine from within without,
Making everyone around me see You,
not by my words,
But by My deeds.

Number 8

Life's everyday encounters can be described by simply using the number 8,

When I  first learned how to right the number 8, I thought that I could just put together two 0s on the top of each other and I would be done,

I mean how hard could it be, 

just go around the first zero and then put another one right beneath it.

But my teacher at the time told me "That's not how it goes honey"

Then she took my hand and went through the process of producing my first perfect 8.

At first we went smoothly down creating a con caved curve,

then gently, that curve formed another curve at the bottom,

then another smooth line slid to the top closing up the 8.

I thought to myself, 

how can a single number have so many curves and twists, 

and why couldn't I just do it the way that I thought was easy?

But now that I'm older and always thinking in metaphors,

I realized that 8 might as well be the number of life.

When you begin this wonderful journey you start high with high hopes and dreams,

and then you slowly start fall into the pit of despair because of some stressor that entered into your once perfect swing into life.

 Your Low now.

Then you realize that this feeling of loss can not last forever,
so you get back on it and go on with your journey,
getting back up is a bit hard for you since you have to
go through a steep turn.
But you do it anyways.
Your High again.

Now your fully balanced since you know both how to be in your highs and your lows,

But if you turn the 8 clockwise you produce the famous infinity sign.

Showing that once you master the infinite art of falling and getting back again,

then you now graduate into the infinite possibilities of Life,

and all that it has for you. 

You may fall.brake, weep, laugh, smile but you will 

always,

always 

know the infinitesimal growth that your are,

and will forever go through.
